DIY Fall Decor

The DIY Showoff Blog is having a DIY Show Off Parade.  I thought I would show off my fall wreath trio that I made over the weekend. All of the material is from Hobby Lobby and I made all three wreaths for $20 bucks.  They were super easy to make and add a pop of color on that wall.  I wanted something simple since I was planning on hanging them three in a row.

For one wreath you need

1 12" grapevine wreath
2 wheat picks
7 yards of ribbon
Floral wire

Tie wheat picks opposite each other at the bottom of the wreath with wire.
Use 6 yards of ribbon to make bow.  Here is a good tutorial from Save-on-Crafts.
Tie ribbon on to wreath with wire.
Use left over yard of ribbon to hang.  I used a nail to hang the wreath above the mirror.

I can't wait to DIY something similar for the holidays.

  17. The rule of three is always a winner! This will be duplicated in lots of homes for sure. Love the mirrors, I've been looking for a mirror solution for a small wall in a room that needs more light and this would totally work.

    Dear Sweet Survival,
I love you wreaths and the three window/mirrors, where did you get the mirrored windows from or did you make them?
    Thanks
